We advise you to ask for a fifth colour to reduce colour variation of a solid colour without affecting photographs or illustrations. At GPS we can produce your print work economically using a fifth colour in one pass through the press.

For a minimal additional cost a fifth unit can also be used to overprint information in one pass. Generic artwork for a franchise can be personalised for each outlet e.g. address and contact details may vary from store to store although all other elements would remain constant, therefore, the contact details are printed separately on an additional plate.

Machine Coating
If there's a risk of ink rub, if a page will be folded, cut or handled extensively, a coating will shield the print work. This can be a high quality gloss or silk coating.

How it works
Infra-red lights dry the in-line coating, almost immediately, and therefore the ink is virtually dry when your job comes off the press.
