Q. What is ISO 12647-2:2004?

A. ISO 12647-2:204 is an international standard that sets a series of tight guidelines for reproducing colour across the reprographic and printing workflow.

The standard has targets and measurement settings for every process including different paper types.

Q.  What is an ISO 12647 Proficient Printer?

A.  They use combinations of printing equipment and consumables that have been optimised to meet the targets and tolerances of ISO 12647.  Their colour measurement instruments are regularly calibrated and certified and they undergo regular reviews.

GPS is the only company in Northern Ireland to have achieved ISO 12647 colour standard on its proofs and presses.
