Colour Bar Scanner
GPS was the first printing company in Northern Ireland to utilise Komori's integrated colour scanner technology. As the scanner can detect colour variation before the human eye, colour variation is kept to the very minimum.
How it works
Every 100 or so printed sheets the printer takes one sheet from the delivery and places it on the console for scanning. The scanner can be set in automatic or semi-automatic mode.
In automatic mode the scanner will detect any colour variation and correct it. In semi-automatic mode the scanner will alert the printer that colour variation has occurred and the printer then instructs the machine, by confirmation, to make the change.
