Lamination
Offers greater strength and resilience against moisture, dirt and constant handling. A lamination will also increase the tear resistance of the job substantially. It's not just functional, it is pleasing to the eye and touch, gloss and matt laminates exaggerate the effect of the original paper surface.
How it works
Bonding clear plastic film by heat and pressure to a sheet of paper to protect the print and improve its appearance.
Spot UV
For a dramatic effect a spot UV varnish (high gloss in appearance) with a contrasting finish to the paper is instantly noticeable.
Embossing/Debossing
Indenting an image, word or shape in or onto a board giving a raised printed surface. An embossed area that is not printed is referred to as a blind emboss. Debossing gives the opposite effect. i.e. a sunken image. |
